Staffing Operations Platform

Jan 2025 — PresentA long-running staffing operations platform supporting recruitment workflows, placement management, feedback cycles, and operational billing.
Scope
The platform supports staffing, candidate, interview, placement, feedback, document, billing, and operational workflows. My work spans a .NET backend, Angular frontend, GraphQL, SQL Server, Azure services, and an API gateway.
Role & delivery
As the primary engineer responsible for the core platform, I work directly with the project manager: clarifying requirements, implementing features across the full stack (.NET backend, Angular frontend, and API gateway), managing releases, diagnosing production issues, and making technical decisions.
Selected work
- Designed the integration-test foundation with Testcontainers and built a comprehensive suite of 1,180+ tests covering critical workflows including candidate state transitions, placements, billing, feedback, and authorization.
- Refactored high-change backend domains into isolated vertical-slice CQRS handlers and thin GraphQL resolvers, improving testability and code isolation.
- Delivered and expanded core workflows for candidate screening, interview scheduling, feedback collection, rate management, Power BI embedded dashboards, and external partner API integrations.
- Implemented full-text CV and document search using Azure Blob Storage and Azure AI Search, along with Application Insights telemetry for production diagnostics.
- Collaborated on platform modernization and migrations between Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
